Terms of Delivery

USA* and Canada**: We deliver your order within an average of ten days. To ensure that you can enjoy your order as soon as possible, we ship all products by air. Shipping is free for orders over 2,000 USD. For lower orders, this amount will be calculated when placing the order before payment (see table). Customs clearance and costs at destination included (only for US deliveries).

Alaska, Hawaii and other areas: Ask our International Trade Department, since the conditions may vary depending on the final delivery address.

Please note that there are external factors that may affect delivery time, such as inaccessible geographical locations, holidays, unforeseen weather conditions or customs procedures.

If you choose the waterproof or RAL personalised colour options, please note that the delivery of your order will take longer as metal parts will need additional treating or painting

Taxes

Transactions from the United States and Canada are considered imports.

Exports to the United States are in DDP conditions, which means that the seller pays all costs until the goods arrive at the agreed point, including those associated with customs.

Exports to Canada are in DAP conditions, which means that the buyer is responsible for all risks associated with import customs clearance and for paying duties and taxes once the goods arrive at the destination.

It is important to note that when making international purchases, destination country specific taxes or duties may apply that we cannot anticipate, as they vary according to local regulations and individual circumstances. We recommend that you check your country's customs and tax policies before making your purchase to better understand any possible charges that may apply.

Delivery Conditions

Since orders are usually large, Mezzanines Online arranges with the transport companies to contact the customer by telephone and coordinate the delivery date. This ensures an efficient and convenient delivery for the customer.

  • The order is delivered to the customer's address at street level.
  • Unloading of the product in the XL range: the responsibility of the customer.
  • It does not include delivery to the customer's home, this is the responsibility of the customer.
  • Assembly is also not included.

If the customer considers that there may be any limitations due to access restrictions or remote location, this should be communicated to the Customer Service department.

If necessary, Mezzanines Online can provide an additional quotation taking these limitations into account. If access difficulties are not reported in advance, the delivery may be stopped until the necessary extra charge is paid, such as additional expenses due to the need to transfer the goods to a smaller truck.

Delivery’ shall be deemed to be completed when the Customer or a third party designated by the Customer acquires physical possession of the goods.

To confirm that the delivery has been made, the Customer must sign the delivery note of the order.

Incidents in the delivery

  • Upon receipt of the order, the customer must ensure that the order is free of damage or loss of material. If it is suspected that the interior may be damaged, a note ‘pending inspection’ should be added to the delivery note and a description of the damage should be given. It is advisable to take photos. It is crucial that you follow these instructions so that we can claim the damage from the shipping insurance. If you fail to do so, we will not be able to proceed with the claim.
  • In the event of any of these circumstances, the claim period is 7 working days from delivery. The customer must send a written description and photographs of any damage/incidents to info@mezzaninesonline.com

 

Delivery of the XL range

  • The location where the goods are delivered must be accessible for a long trailer type truck (maximum mass admitted up to 36t).
  • The unloading of the material must be done from the side of the truck and is the responsibility of the customer.
  • The product is delivered packed on pallets at the bottom, so unloading should preferably be carried out with a forklift truck.
