The hinged door, made of steel, is installed on the edge of the surface or mezzanine and can therefore replace the railing, if there is one. Its opening system swings towards the inside of the mezzanine or installation surface. To minimise any possible floor unevenness, the 2 door leaves are fitted with adjustable wheels.
Designed for commercial or industrial use, these gates are easily opened and closed manually and integrate a locking-type closing system. For added security, the door comes with a slot to fit a padlock (not included).
Are the railings compatible among the different ranges?
No, they are not. However, there are other possible combinations between ranges, in which the performance and configuration of the standard product changes (see diagram).
Low railing:
Compatible with mezzanines of the S, M and L ranges. To go ahead with the installation, you must purchase one angular strut from the corresponding mezzanine range for each railing post.
Compatible with the mezzanines of the XL range. To go ahead with the installation, you must purchase one M/L angular strut and one Adapter for Accessories in Primary Beam XL for each railing post.
Loft bed railing S, Railing S, 4-Tubes railing S and Panel railing S:
Compatible with S range mezzanines: No additional accessories are required.
Compatible with the M and L range mezzanines: To go ahead with the installation, you must purchase one M/L angular strut for each railing post. Please note that the height of the handrail is reduced.
Compatible with the mezzanine of the XL range: To go ahead with the installation, you must purchase one M/L post clamp and one Adapter for Accessories in Primary Beam XL for each handrail post. Please note that the height of the railing is reduced.
Railing M, 4-Tubes railing M and Panel railing M:
These are not compatible with S range mezzanines.

All Mezzanines Oniline railings are designed for installation on our mezzanines. The Railing with safety skirting board XL is the most recommended for installation on other surfaces.
Can the railing be cut to reduce its height?
This is not recommended, as to cover a space with reduced height (i.e.: attics, irregular/low ceilings, etc.) we recommend installing the Low Railing instead. This particular railing model will allow the height of the railing posts to be adjusted to the client's taste.
Does one flank of railing cover an entire side of the mezzanine?
That depends. The railing kits are 78 3/4" long. You will have to calculate how many kits you need.
What are the colours and finishes available for the railing?
The steel parts are coated with a highly adherent polyester paint coating using an electrostatic process. The colours and finishes available for the railings are as follows:
White (RAL: 9016). (Available from stock at no extra cost.)
Black (RAL: 9005) (Available from stock at no extra cost).
Any single-coat colour from the RAL range at an additional cost and upon request. We recommend checking the delivery times.
The handrail of the railings and stairs are available in aluminium in the following finishes:
Anodised silver (at no extra cost).
Black lacquer (additional cost).
Wood effect (additional cost).
The loft bed and rope railings are fitted with handrails made of solid natural beech wood. In the case of the spiral staircase railings, the handrails are available in black polyethylene or black rope.

Quality of the materials
MezzaninesOnline products are manufactured with the most suitable materials for the proposed technical solutions, combining wood, steel and top quality aluminium.
The steels used for beams, columns and other components are fit for structural uses with a high yield strength (S235, S275 or S3555, as required). The pieces are manufactured using maximum precision laser cutting, folding and pressing processes. Next a powder coating is applied and they are baked in the oven, offering maximum adhesion and an outstanding finish.

The wood panels used for the mezzanine flooring can be made of European radiata pine plywood or high density structural chipboard. All the boards are tongue and groove on all four sides to prevent faults and unevenness at the joints of the modules.
Other wooden components, such as the steps and parts of the handrails, are made from top quality beech.

The Safety Pallet Gate, also known as Anti-fall tilting barrier, is a collective security and protection element. Its use is mandatory according to the labour risk prevention regulations. It avoids the people falling while lifting loads to a mezzanine or to any other level.
It works as a rocker: the merchandise is deposited in a position using a forklift and taken away in the other position from inside the mezzanine. This way, one of the railing sides is always closed, avoiding falling to a different level with no need to use harness.
The dimensions of the maximum load to deposit and the dimensions of the gate itself depend on the model, as shown in the main image.
